Bienestar
At Bridging Cultures, we believe access to healthy food is essential to overall wellness. That’s why our Bienestar (Wellness) programs include weekly food banks that make it easier for families and individuals in our community to put healthy meals on the table. Each distribution includes a variety of refrigerated and shelf-stable items, along with fresh fruits and vegetables.
All food banks take place at our office, 1382 SE 3rd Ave, Suite 2, Canby, OR 97013. Please note that the majority of the food bank is held outside, so we recommend dressing according to the weather.
Please plan to arrive at the scheduled start time, as we are unable to accommodate early arrivals.
Who Can Attend
Our food banks are open to everyone in the community. There are no income requirements, no qualifying activities, and no paperwork to fill out. Just bring your own grocery bags and come pick up food for yourself and your family. Everyone is welcome.
How to Connect
To make a Monday appointment or to learn more about our food banks, call or text 503-420-0018. Whether you’re here to receive food, volunteer, or donate, you are helping us build a stronger and healthier Canby.

Our food bank has grown significantly over the past year as more families are reaching out for support. In September 2025, we had 386 visits receiving food, serving 1,801 individuals that month. By March 2026, that number had grown to 1,582 visits receiving food and 5,486 individuals served.
You may notice two different numbers in our data. “Visits receiving food” reflects how many times someone comes to pick up food, while “individuals served” reflects how many people that food supports. Many visits represent entire households. For example, one visit might provide food for a family of four, which would count as one visit receiving food and four individuals served. |
Tracking this information helps us plan ahead, understand how needs are changing, and make sure we have enough food and resources available. Transparency matters to us, and sharing accurate information helps our community see what’s needed. When you donate, volunteer, or help spread the word, these numbers reflect the real impact of that support.
Oregon Food Bank PartnerBridging Cultures is proud to be the only Oregon Food Bank Partner in Canby. This partnership allows us to expand our reach and provide even more nutritious options to families in need. Being part of the Oregon Food Bank network connects us to statewide resources and ensures that Canby has access to the same level of support as larger communities.

Our Local Partners
In addition to the Oregon Food Bank, our weekly food banks are made possible thanks to generous donations from local grocery stores including our local Canby Grocery Outlet, Cutsforth's Thriftway, Fred Meyer, and Safeway. Their ongoing support helps us provide fresh produce and quality groceries every week.
